Houston Marathon

Last weekend I ran the Houston Marathon and ran my best time ever...3:44:11 (almost qualifying for Boston!). It was a beautiful day and Andrew and Grant came out to cheer me on. Grant is such a sport during my races and is getting good at cheering for me (I think he did better than the last marathon in Kingwood where Andrew had to chase him around the whole time!). It is a long morning though for both Daddy and Grant trying to see me along the course and watch me finish. Everyone is exhausted by noon and ready to head home for naps! On a side note-Grant's favorite song is All My Single Ladies and Andrew thinks he was humming it during the race. At the finish line with Mom-we are both exhausted and ready to go home.

Grant's First Haircut

Grant had his first haircut 2 weeks ago. We finally decided it was time to trim the long hair in the back and give his hair some shape. He did awesome...he ate goldfish and played with the bell on the firetruck. He also helped comb his hair (which he loves to do). I feel like his hair has gotten thicker since we cut it and it looks so much better!

Visit home for XMAS continued..

We also got to visit with the Gallagher family while in Carlinville. Andrew is holding sweet little Eli and Aaron (the best man at our wedding) is holding Grant. It was so cute to see the boys together.

Christmas Eve and Day

I am finally posting pictures from Christmas!! We went home to Illinois for 12 days to both my parents and Andrew's parents and had a wonderful time. Grant didn't really get the presents this year...maybe next. He did like ripping the paper though and loved playing with all of his toys. Christmas Eve before going to church.
