New Water Table and Grill
Since Grant LOVES the water, my parents bought him a water table when we returned from Ft. Worth. He also got a new grill to cook next to Daddy outside. While Grant napped, grandpa put them together so they were ready when he woke up. He loved them and played over 2 hours until it was time to eat dinner. I think we are going to have a lot of fun with them this summer, especially the water table when it is hot outside .

Trip to Ft. Worth
This past weekend we headed to Ft. Worth for my friend Doug's wedding. My parents also flew there for the wedding and then drove back with us on Sunday to hang out for a few days. We had a very nice weekend! It was nice to see some friends from high school and spend some time with my parents. Grant did not take good naps or sleep well at the hotel. Of course, he also ran around like a crazy man greeting and chatting with everyone at the rehearsal dinner and reception. He is such a social butterfly.
Updates for baby book...He is now 17 months old. Grant has added a few more words to his vocabulary-bubbles, Chiefy (loves to say that one), water, tickle-tickle, night -night, thank you, pease...I can't think of any other ones right now, but he is also putting words together. Oh yeah..he also says some names Barbar (for his sitter and Texas grandma), Pat (Barb's husband), Ella (the neighbor girl who Barb also watches), gama and papa. He said "Bye Bye Chiefy" when we left the house the other day and my mom said he said "see ya later" the other day-of course I didn't hear that one.
At the rehearsal dinner...they had 2 water fountains on the rooftop that Grant couldn't get enough of. He kept running back and forth to them wanting to touch the water. This is where we spent most of our night.
Eating with Grandma and Grandpa..at least he ate well this weekend!
The groom's father and my neighbor growing up-Fred- with Grandpa Dale and Andrew. Once again he is at one the fountains wanting to jump in.

Fun in Mom and Dad's Bathtub
The other night Andrew's back was hurting pretty bad so he decided to soak in the tub with the jets on his back. Grant had other ideas though.....he wanted to get in with his Dad. He kept putting his hands on the jet and spraying water everywhere and trying to throw his leg over the side to get in. Eventually I stripped him down and let him get with his bedtime milk. He thought he was pretty cool hanging out with his Dad. (Andrew is not happy I am putting these pics up but I think they are adorable!).
Trip to Cancun/Grandma Comes to Visit
A couple of weeks ago Andrew and I took a trip to Cancun with our good friends Courtney and Josh! This was the first time I was away from Grant overnight. I missed him like crazy but I knew he was in good hands at home with Grandma Linda. Grant's Aunt Christine and Cousins Caroline and Madeline came to visit too so they had fun playing, going to the park and zoo. I will post of those pictures when I get them from my mom.
