1st Day of School in the 2 Year Old Room

Off to his 1st day of school in the 2 year old room. He is going back to Southminster School where he went last year and his new teacher is Ms. Trisha.

He told me he was going to go feed the baby dolls (which he played with a bunch at Meet the Teacher Day-I guess because he doesn't have any:( -maybe I need to get him one!).

So Bryce hates baby food and won't eat it so 2 nights ago I figured out he would eat baby food if I stuck a puff on the tip of the spoon. Then I decided I would just get out a can of vegetable mix and see how it went-as you can see ...it was a success! He fed himself carrots, green beans, potatoes, peas, etc. I also kept putting cereal on the spoon and a piece of vegetable on top so I could get him to eat a bit more. Bryce also loves Wagon Wheels and thinks it is funny to feed Chief.

Yummy! This is good!

Happy 4th Birthday Madeline! We drove to Corpus Christi last weekend to celebrate Madeline's 4th birthday. Her party was at Sonic where there was a big playground, bounce house and yummy treats. It was 100+ outside but there was a very nice breeze that helped. Grant had a great time hanging with his cousins.

Bryce 7 months

Bryce was 7 months a week ago (a little behind-b/c we have been so busy!). He is happier than ever...Our family in IL couldn't get over what a happy and wonderful baby he is. Bryce is just such a joy:) and makes me want to have a 3rd child. Just a few updates this month because not too many things have changed. Here they are:

-Diapers-Size 3 (not sure of height and weight right now)

-Clothing-still 6-12 months and 9 month clothes

-Feedings- 5 feedings a day-Last feeding of the day is a 10 oz bottle with rice cereal in it and stopped breastfeeding before bed now. Still on all breastmilk and still NOT liking baby food. We are trying a few finger foods-pizza crust, avocado, banana, tortillas, etc. I keep trying to give him baby food, but we mainly just waste it since he spits it out. He tries grabbing at everything we are eating at the table. Still no teeth!

-Movement-(same as last month) Lots of rolling all over the room, sitting up by self, just started getting on his knees once in a while, but no creeping or crawling.

-New favorite-loves to grab at pages in books and hold them

We had a wonderful trip visiting all of of our family! It was nice to come home:)

Visit to Mama-Os and Papas

After we visited my parents in Rock Island we headed to Carlinville to spend the rest of the trip with Andrew's parents. Bryce finally got to meet his Auntie Elizabeth, Uncle Mike and cousins Ella and Jack and we got to spend time with his extended family also.
