Almost 4 months!

Grant will be 4 months next Sunday. We can't believe how much he has grown and how much he changes every day. Besides starting to play in his exersaucer this week, he started to love to stand up while you hold him. He loves to move his feet around and straighten his legs. He is getting so strong!

Strawberry Picking

Sarah and Ryan( sleeping) with us at the patch.
Grant loved looking around and helping me pick stawberries!

Laurie and Leila picking strawberries with us!

Leila was so excited to pick strawberries!

Last Friday I went with my friends Laurie and Sarah and Grant's pals Leila and Ryan to pick fresh strawberries in Alvin, TX. Leila and Grant hung out in the front packs, while Ryan took a little nap in his stroller. We got some great strawberries and enjoyed the wonderful weather. Grant loved looking out and watching everything going on.

Exersaucer

Grant has his first experience in the exersaucer this week(thank you Casey for letting us borrow it). He is not completely sure what do in it, but likes standing up and watching TV in it. As you can see...he really likes his hands now too!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

On St. Patty's Day we went walking with my friend Sarah and her adorable son Ryan. After our nice long walk, we went back to their house for a little playtime. Ryan (who is 5 months older than Grant) was very interested in Grant's face. He kept grabbing for his eyes and mouth, but Grant didn't seem to mind! They exchanged some looks and had a little talk. I am sure they will be great friends some day! Grant is so lucky to have so many little buddies here in the neighborhood.

Grant Loves Sports

Grant will be 15 weeks tomorrow. Each week seems to fly by!
He rolled from his back to his tummy today, but I am wondering if it was just a fluke. He did laugh out loud at me once this week, but I am waiting for the days when he does it every day! He still smiles all the time and I love it in the morning when I go to get him and he gives me the biggest smile. It just makes my heart melt. I am posting lots of pictures we took this week in all of of sports outfits. He loves to watch sports with Daddy(although he slept through the entire IL basketball game tonight while his father screamed at the TV every 2 minutes-of course-he never woke up!).

Finally!

I am finally going to make my first post after starting this blog over 3 months ago (thank you Sarah for helping me get started and everyone else for giving me a hard time so I would finally make this post)!

Grant is now 14 weeks! He was born 11-29-08 and has been a joy! He is already sleeping through the night (started that around 11-12 weeks), can roll over from his tummy to back and laughs out loud (sometimes!). He is a very happy baby and smiles often. Grant loved to play on his activity mat until this week. Now all he wants to do is watch TV, especially Sports Center! Great!!! I finally broke down and put in his first Baby Einstein DVD this week.

Grant went on his first plane ride home last week to be baptized in Illinois. It was so nice for all of our family to be there and Grant didn't even cry when they put the water over his head.

Well I don't want to get carried away and write too much this first post...sooooo thats it. Enjoy the pics.
