Bryce-15 months old

My sweet boy Bryce is 15 months old! His personality is definitely coming out more in the past 3 months. He is turning into a toddler and not a baby anymore (though I will hold on to the "baby" as long as I can). Here are a bunch of updates and cute things he has done.

Weight-22 pounds on my scale at home-not sure height. We go to his 15 month appt next week so I will post then

Diapers-size 4

Teeth-Still 6-I swear he has been working on more they just haven't come through yet

Shoe size-4.5 (so small compared to Grant at this time) Clothes- 12-18, 18 month

Schedule-still 2 naps a day, but I can make it 1 nap if he can go down around 12 or 1230-at that point he is melting down. Two naps work better for our schedule right now with picking Grant up from school and having them both nap in afternoon together. I am sure this summer when I don't have to pick Grant up from school we will go down to 1 nap.

Food-He eats whatever we are eating and still has a great appetite. He will still eat all his vegatables and fruit before touching anything else on his tray. We have discovered Bryce has a big sweet tooth! LOVES anything sweet and will scream and throw a fit if he sees someone eating dessert and not offering him a bite:) Yes we throw fits now if we don't get our way-I can't help but laugh when he does it.

Words-Lots of Ma-Ma-so clear and adorable when he wants me and keeps saying it til I do what he wants or look at him in the car
Da-Da, Hot, Quack Quack- when you ask him what a duck says, Bar-bar-for his Texas grandma Barbara, Mil-for Milk
I know I am missing something but can't remember....he also repeats a lot of things we say now

-He finally took his first steps 2 weeks ago. He took 5 at one time and wasn't wobbly at all. He then didn't take steps for days. He is now taking more steps every day but only when you make him. He just isn't interested in walking and prefers to crawl or cruise. At least we know he is able to walk-just doesn't want to:(

Favorites-
-Chief and him still have a love affair-Chief is still who he prefers to kiss but he now gives kisses to Mom and Dad more without us asking:) He hit me the other day and I told him no and it hurt and he quickly opened his mouth and gave me a kiss-made my heart melt:)
-Favorite game is still peek-a-boo
-Loves Wagon Rides, sand table and playing in water
-Being in his brother's bed at night for story time-he gets giddy!
-Loves wind and sun in his face
-Loves rubbing his naked belly and finding his belly button. He also loves to lift my shirt and find mine. Likes to play "where is your head?, eyes?, nose?, etc"
-He gives zerberts now
-Music-he will slap his knee when music comes on in the car

I am sure I am missing things but at least this is a start:) Here are a few pictures for the past couple months

Poor guy got pneumonia and an ear infection at the same time. Such a champ taking his breathing treatment-that time:(
Playing in his outdoor cottage from his bday (thank you Mama-O and Papa!)
Sleepy boy
Loving the sand table
He loves to brush his teeth
...and climbs on everything
My attempt at bluebonnet pics

He will eat an entire 6 inch meatball sub from Subway
The Cozy Coupe in another favorite-Grant drives him around and he just giggles

3 months in review..

Yes it has been 3 months! We have just been very busy and I haven't had time to blog. So here is my attempt to catch up:)
In January, Grant had a birthday party at the Astro's Minute Maid Park. They got to go down on the field, in the press box, run the bases, etc. Andrew and Grant both had a great time.
In the dugout with his buddy Charlie from school
In February we went to Galveston for the Mardi Gras Parades. It was a beautiful day and the boys enjoyed being outside and watching the parade.

Bryce, Tyler (behind him) and Sophia:)
In March Grant had Rodeo Days at school and had so much fun:)

Riding a pony-last year he was too scared to ride
My parents came to visit in March. We took Grant and my parents to their first rodeo. Grant was an angel and sat in his seat thru the whole thing and even for part of the concert. My sister and her kids came for the weekend and we all went to the Livestock Show and Children's Museum. Grant and Bryce love having their cousins and grandparents here! We had such a nice time.
Fishing at the Children's Museum
First time Grant went in the huge climby thing (not sure what to call it)-he definitely thought he was a big shot.
At the Livestock Show
Checking at the chickens with Caroline and Madeline
Too cute
My 2 cowboys after the rodeo-Grant was pretty tired!
Bama and Grant
Watching all the cowboys
Bryce loved all the animals at the livestock show

My boys with Bama and Bampa
In March Grant started taking swim lessons. We went everyday for 2 weeks and now we are going 2 times a week.
Happy St. Patty's Day!

Soccer Time! Grant's first soccer game in March! Pretty funny stuff!
April 1st we went to the Spring Fling in the neighborhood. They had a petting zoo, bounce houses, the Easter Bunny, train rides, etc.
The boys and the Easter bunny (I will post pictures of Easter in another post).

Love this picture:)

Bryce's 1st Birthday Party-The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Bryce had a Very Hungry Catepillar Party for his 1st birthday. Ten of his baby friends and couple of their siblings came to our house for a fun morning.
The catepillar cake and cupcake cake-it turned out very cute:)
For the food I did most of the food from the book and then Chickfila wraps and chicken minis for the kiddos.

Mommy and the birthday boy-he had 2 very cute Catepillar shirts for the party.
