1st Cardinal Game

Last night we took Grant to his first Cardinal game. He looked so cute in his jersey and hat! We were very lucky that no one was sitting by us so he was able to wander back and forth and that we were sitting on club level so we could take breaks and let him run around outside. I don't think we would have lasted as long as we did if we were sitting anywhere us! Thank you Josh for the tickets! We had a great time.

DaDa and Grant cheering on the Cardinals!

Grant and his friend Sophie (whose Dad is also a big Cardinal fan)

All smiles
Very serious about watching the game

I love this picture-he is cheezing it up!

Baby #2-Grant is going to be a big brother!

As most people already know...I am 13 weeks pregnant and due January 14th. We are so excited for Grant to be a big brother! We had another ultrasound yesterday and did the gender blood test ....so we should know the gender in 7-10 days! We think its boy, but we will know for sure in a few days. Baby Collins-13 weeks
Putting up his/her hand just like Grant did in his ultrasound pictures

Baby Collins-almost 12 weeks-if you look close you can see a smile!

This picture is why we think its a boy-also at almost 12 weeks. The ultrasound tech yesterday said its way to early to tell from on ultrasound, but Dr. P said that if you had to bet he would say boy. We will see soon!

Finally-updates, pics-5 blog posts in one day!

Ok I know it has been over a month since I posted but I finally did-there are 5 posts below! We have been busy visiting Andrew's family, having our friends in from Australia, started swim lessons again and just day to day stuff.
Updates-lets see I missed his 18 and 19 month updates so here is the short version...

At his 18 month checkup we weighed right under 24 pounds-25%, height was 32 inches-45% and his head has in the 75%. On our scale at home now he weighs 25.5 and I haven't measured him so not sure on height.
-He is wearing 18-24 month clothes but an still wear the 12-18 bottoms since he has a small waist.
-Favorite foods-still loves his fruit-especially berries!, pizza, mac and cheese, chips (just like his mom which has caused him to choke over 3 times and have the Heimlich maneuver done-no more chips for him after this weekend), waffles, cheese, tortillas....Still not crazy about the vegetables so we have to sneak them in whenever we can
-Still taking one long (2-3+ hour in the afternoon)
-New things-he loves to help his Dad around the house and watches everything he does. Grant is so busy like his Dad and wants to picks everything up, move it around and figure it out. One of his favorite things to play with is luggage. Andrew thinks he is going to be a power lifter because he picks everything up and carries it around.
-He finally likes one cartoon and I put it on in the morning while we play and have milk-The Mickey Mouse Club. I started taping this one because we are going to Disney in September and I want him to know who the characters are. He loves it and like to dance to the songs and says Mickey when it comes on. We don't watch the full thing though-just bits and pieces.
-He is still a huge lover-loves to give hugs and kisses and waits for the dog to give him kisses in the morning with his mouth wide open
-Grant has full conversations with us now-we just don't know what he is saying most of the time! He is very animated when he reads his books to himself or is trying to tell us something-just wish we knew what it was. He is saying a lot more words and repeats a lot of things we say. He has also started to try and sing his ABCs/Twinkle Twinkle Little Star-of course just bits and pieces and jabber but to the melody.
-We also started doing Gymboree Art which is a lot of fun.

Ok enough typing for the baby book for now......see below for all of the pictures!

To the Zoo Again!

While The Clark Family was here Grant got to go to the zoo for the 3rd time in a month. He has really taken an interest in animals lately and his favorite noise is mooo! It is so darn cute when he says it. Daddy and Grant by the lions-looking very cute in their hats

Grant, Emily and Molly. Emily was such a great helper at the zoo. She helped chase him down and hold his hand when he would run off. He loved running up and down the ramps at each animal. His little face got so red!

These 2 pics are from the restaurant Bennihana that night. The kids enjoyed watching them cook and Grant loved the rice-which he wanted to eat with chop sticks. He made a huge mess!

4th of July

For the 4th of July weekend our friends, the Clark Family, came to visit from Australia. We had a great visit going to pool, the zoo and just hanging out around the house. On the 4th of July we went to the Bakers for a cookout with a bunch of friends. Here are pics.....
Carter and Grant hanging out in their chairs...so cute!

Sophie (showing the boys some legs), Grant and Mason

Mason looks like the only one who is happy here

Not the best picture--it is never easy to get a great picture of all of us with the kiddos, but we tried!

Grant loves to slide

One of my new FAVORITE pictures! My happy boy!
Beth and Jeff's little girl Molly in her 4th of July dress-so cute!

Fun at Home

These are a bunch of random pictures from home from the past month. So happy in his PJs and Cardinal hat. He is really starting to like wearing his hat.

The other night Andrew picked up bread on his way home from work for dinner...Grant immediately grabbed it and ran to the family room to eat it.

...and lick it...

...and then cry when I took it away from him and gave him a piece. He was so upset!

Playing with Daddy's cooler-he thinks he is such a big boy!

Not such a great picture but it shows Grant doing something he loves-helping Daddy around the house. He is such a busy boy and wants to do everything Andrew does.

Visit to Grandma and Grandpa Collins

In June we flew to St. Louis to visit Andrew's family. Andrew's sisters family was also there so Grant got to see his Aunt and Uncle and his cousins Jack and Ella. He really enjoyed playing with his cousins and hanging out with his grandparents. There are only a few pictures since we didn't take many-Andrew and I need to get better about getting the camera out! At the St. Louis Zoo
Giving the seal a kiss

...and trying to ride big wheels with his cousin Jack!

Fun with Mason-Splash Park and Zoo

In June Grant and Mason had lots of fun together going to the Splash Park in Sugar Land and the Houston Zoo. Enjoy the pics! Grant loves the water so he loved playing in all of the puddles at the Splash Park!

I love this picture!

Getting their picture in front of the elephant-of course Grant fell off right after this picture was taken.

Happy as can be!

This is one of my favorite pictures-I love his smile!

Getting ready to pet the snake with mommy.

I had to include this picture because it makes me laugh-they were upstairs at the house yelling down at us.
