Busted!

Friday when I went upstairs to put Grant down for his nap I put Bryce in his exersaucer that he can run around the outside of. When I walked upstairs it was to the left of the stairs. When I came downstairs he was all the way to the right of the stairs and had taken all the magazines off the end table and spread them around. He was so proud of himself! I guess he decided to walk drag the exersaucer behind him-Not so effective to keep him in one (safe!) place.
Lots of updates! Right before me left for Disney on the 19th Bryce learned how to pull himself up to standing from sitting. He also finally learned how to go from his belly to sitting up by himself. This makes him so happy to do! Bryce's newest thing is to clap for everything. He has clapped a few times in the past couple of months but he would do it once or twice and then forget about it-now he does it all the time and giggles when he does it. He even waved good-bye to Gymbo at Gymboree last week.
AND WE HAVE TEETH!!! He got his 1st tooth last week-the top right and now has the bottom right one too. I think he is getting the other top and bottom ones right now too but they haven't popped through yet.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from my 2 sweet little pumpkins (Yes I know I am cheesy)! Here are the pictures I have taken in the past week at the pumpkin patch in our neighborhood.

Our Trip Disney World

A week ago we headed to Orlando to visit the Clark Family who moved to Australia right before Grant was born. We have been friends with them since we lived in New Orleans and lived in the same neighborhood here in Houston. I miss Beth tons and I am so glad we got to visit them and meet their newest (and final-haha) addition Grace. Here are some pictures from our trip. Thanks Beth and Jeff-we had a fabulous time and can't wait to see you guys again:)
Grant-super excited as we are heading to the Magic Kingdom!
Watching the celebration parade
The weather was perfect while we were there! Both boys did awesome-Grant didn't nap either day we were at the park and Bryce napped in the Bjorn or in the stroller. Bryce would even take a bottle on the go.

Trying to get a picture of them together...so hard

Bryce-9 months old

Bryce was 9 months old on Tuesday. I haven't taken many pics of him lately so this is all I really had to use today:( but i will take a bunch tomorrow at the pumpkin patch. Still a very happy baby and I don't want him to get any older.
Updates
Height-28 inches- 45%
Weight-18 pounds-10% :(
Head-18 1/4- 75%
Went to the Dr today and Dr said he is doing great! Compared Bryce to a humming bird and said he just eats a lot, but has a very fast metabolism-just like his brother and Dad.
-He is doing great with all of his table food-eating pretty much whatever we eat and allows some baby food once in a while. He loves yogurt, beans, cheese, green beans and pretty much whatever you give him. He is still getting all breast milk-4 times a day. When he gets a bottle its between 5-9 ozs.
-Still size 3 diapers and 6-12 month clothes depending on the brand and if it was a hand me down.
-Favorites-Grant, Chiefy, balls, power cords, shoes and anything else he shouldn't have in his mouth. He still loves to be in the door jumper and likes the exersaucer he can run in circles in. He also loves to swing, to be thrown in the air, peek a boo and loves to read books-sequels in delight when you turn the pages. Bryce also LOVES parachute time at Gymboree
-Crawling all over the place and getting very fast (still not the correct way). You can't leave him alone anymore even for a minute.
-No teeth still but you can feel 2 bumps on the bottom
-Still 2 good naps (if we are home in the morning-if not cat nap in morning while on the go)-morning (when home in bed) 1-2 hours and afternoon is 2-3 hours

With Grandma and cousin Madeline at Caroline's bday party
Too tired to finish his bottle
Still a thumb sucker when he gets tired

Grandma and Grandpa Visit to Texas

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit us (and my sister's family) last week. We went to Corpus Christi for the weekend for Caroline's 2nd birthday and got to go to the beach (which Grant LOVES). They stayed there for a few days and then drove back to see us in Houston for another few days. We stayed busy going to Grandparents' Day at school, Moody Gardens in Galveston and then just hung out at the house. It is always so nice to spend time with family and for the boys to see their grandparents. Growing up Andrew and I were both very close with our grandparents and spent a lot of time with them (we ate Sunday dinner at my father's parents EVERY week which was followed by ice cream sundaes and a bowl of fruit with grandma Norma and my great grandma Mary:)..which was also followed by a game a yahtzee). I wish my boys lived closer to theirs and got to spend more time with them, but we do the best we can. I hope my boys will have lots of fun memories with their grandparents just like I do.
Grandpa with Bryce and Grant will his too small Thomas PJs
When you tell Grant to pose for pictures these days he bends his knees and does this weird smile-what a goofball.
At the beach in Corpus-yes my Dad is in some weird/uncomfortable stance-haha

Playing in the sand-could do it for hours
Bryce liked getting his toes wet and eating sand
