Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! These are some pictures my friend took of Grant recently.....they are so funny and cute. He did not like the roses and wouldn't cooperate with the idea I had for our Valentine card, but she still got some cute shots anyway.

Visit to NOLA!

Last weekend we headed to New Orleans for the 1st weekend of Mardi Gras. This was Grant's 1st trip to NOLA. We had a very busy time visiting friends and going to parades. Grant did great with the traveling and the change of his schedule.
I can't believe he is now 14 1/2 months. He is getting lots of new teeth (he has at least 10 teeth now-he doesn't like me to check!) and is talking a lot more (we can't understand much-but he is definitely having conversations). Grant is also following directions a lot more and is getting very opinionated. One of his favorite things to do is dance-he wiggles around and now moves his arms too. Both Grant and I have been sick all week (Grant got his 1st fever) so it has been a very long week for all us! Enjoy the pics! At the Schlumberger stands for one of the night parades.
It was so cold that night, but Grant was a little trooper and enjoyed all the noise and lights.

Grant's 1st trip to the Quarter. We went down to the quarter for a day parade and he got his 1st beads. We were hanging out with my friend Shelly and her little girl Corinne. Grant's favorite beads were plain old pink beads! He got lots of really cool ones with crabs, boots, wine bottles, etc, but he loved the plain ones.

Waiting for the parade to start.
