Happy Father's Day Andrew

Happy Father's Day Andrew (yes this post is a week late)! We hope you know how much we love and appreciate everything you do for our family:) You are a wonderful father to Grant, Bryce and Chiefy. For Father's Day I took Andrew to Pappa's Steakhouse for dinner Saturday night and then Sunday we went to church and brunch. The rest of the day we just hung out in the backyard. Hope you had a great Father's Day Andrew-we love you!!

Bryce-5 months

Bryce was 5 months old on Saturday. He is getting so big and full of personality. He is such a happy, easy going baby and still smiles and coos all the time.

Updates:

-Still in Size 2 diapers

-6 month clothes

-Still getting around 6-7 feedings a day. He also started solids and he has tried rice cereal, squash and applesauce. Not too crazy about any of them and spits most of it out, but we are trying. He loves to hold the spoon though and chew on it.

-FINALLY been sleeping thru the night consistently the past week and about 2 weeks ago he moved him to his own room and crib:(. I did not want to move him from our room but it was time. Takes around 4 naps a day-1 about 2 hours after he wakes up for about an hour, a small one before lunch time, a 2-3 hour one in the afternoon and a cat nat in the evening. He is going to bed around 8. He wakes up usually between 6:30-7am.

-Rolls over both directions really well and now will do repeat rolls sometimes. He can sit up in the tripod stance for a little while but eventually falls over. Bryce loves the door jumper and is getting the hang of that but still doesn't like to stand up if you hold his hands. He will put weight on his legs for a bit and then gives you a big smile and becomes limp.

-Favorites-loves his brother and dog, toys-his Baby Einstein ball, his giraffe and his flat teddy bear with rings on it, loves to be snuggled and LOVES HIS THUMB and toes!!!

This is the outfit Grant wore around 4 months for Bluebonnet pics (you can see Grant in it if you go to the posts from March/April 2009). I love it and had to put Bryce in it once also for pictures. Bryce found his toes a few weeks ago so he loves to play with them.

Fun in San Antonio

Last weekend we went the the JW Marriot Hill Country Resort in San Antonio and had a wonderful time! We got there Friday early afternoon and played in the pool til it was time for bed ( we also made smores but Grant was not interested in eating those-Andrew and I took care of that:) ). The boys did great both nights sleeping in the same room as us-Grant on a pull out and Bryce in the pack n play-I was worried Bryce would wake Grant up but they both slept thru the night both nights. Grant had so much fun playing in the kid's area and going down the water slides and Bryce just went with the flow and was happy as always. It was Bryce's first time in a pool and he of course liked it. Here are some (lots!) of pictures from the weekend.

Bryce and Chief-Tummy Time

These are a few pictures I took of Chief wanting to do tummy time with Bryce. Chief is such a great dog and so good with the boys (wish I could say that Grant is good with Chief...but he bothers him all the time! Poor Chiefy-he puts up with a lot).
