1 year/XMAS pics
These are a few of my favorite pics of Grant's 1 year/Xmas pictures. Lauren did a great job! It was raining that day so we still have to go back and do some outdoor pics too.

Bayou Wildlife Park
This Thanksgiving my parents, my sister's family and my younger brother Brad came to Houston to visit. On Saturday we went to the Bayou Wildlife Park in Alvin, TX (about 30 minutes from us) and had a great time. We all laughed like crazy and will definitely visit again!
They have a variety of animals from llamas, rhinos, alligators, deer and many endangered species. You ride a 45 minute tram ride through the park and you can feed the animals from your bucket. You definitely get to see the animals up close and personal. Grant sat with Andrew most of the tram ride but was interested in the animals when they came to get food from us.
Just getting to the park- Already got to feed the lamas who came up to the car
Checking out the giraffes before getting on the tram
Cousin Madeline, grandma and grandpa-Madeline squealed the whole time. She loved it!
Taking off-let the fun begin!
We were startled when we turned around to see some sort of weird cattle slobbering all over our diaper bags. I love Andrew's face!
Grant liked him!
"Whoa! That camel is close!"
Grant checking out the animal while Dad is not so sure of it
"Look at him eat! He is messier than me!"

San Antonio Marathon
Last weekend we (including Chiefy!) went to San Antonio. I ran the Marathon on Sunday while Grant and Andrew were my cheerleaders. It was pretty warm and humid for a marathon, but I still finished under 4 hours and I am happy to have a marathon under my belt after having Grant. Grant did not do so great at restaurants-since he is walking pretty good now all he wants to do is be moving. Sitting in highchairs is no fun!
Grant continues to surprise us-yesterday I told him to blow Daddy a kiss good-bye and he did it without me having to show him first. Next week my family is heading to here for Thanksgiving and Grant's 1st birthday! We can't wait!
Gymboree Halloween Party
Yes I am very late on posting these pictures.....Grant had lots of parties to attend for his first Halloween. The last party he attended was one at Gymboree. He had lots of his friends there and Andrew came to watch him play too. Because he would be crawling, walking and climbing I decided not to put him his puppy costume and instead have him be a football player (Daddy went to Sports Authority to buy the eye stickers!). He looked super cute and had lots of fun with his friends. He was exhausted when we left.
