Grandma and Grandpa came to visit us (and my sister's family) last week. We went to Corpus Christi for the weekend for
Caroline's 2
nd birthday and got to go to the beach (which Grant LOVES). They stayed there for a few days and then drove back to see us in Houston for another few days. We stayed busy going to Grandparents' Day at school, Moody Gardens in Galveston and then just hung out at the house. It is always so nice to spend time with family and for the boys to see their grandparents. Growing up Andrew and I were both very close with our grandparents and spent a lot of time with them (we ate Sunday dinner at my father's parents EVERY week which was followed by ice cream sundaes and a bowl of fruit with grandma Norma and my great grandma Mary:)..which was also followed by a game a y
ahtzee). I wish my boys lived closer to theirs and got to spend more time with them, but we do the best we can. I hope my boys will have lots of fun memories with their grandparents just like I do.
